"Plein air" is a French expression meaning "in the open air" that refers to the act of painting outdoors to capture natural light, color, and scenery directly from life, or in this case, the garden!
 
This October, slow down and notice it all—the delicate petals, every leaf, and the pollinators zipping through the flowers. 
 
Spend a beautiful, cooler afternoon in local artist Leah Warren's personal garden, painting her zinnias alongside other garden lovers. Paint supplies, step-by-step instructions, charcuterie, and herb spritzers are all provided.
