We Grow Green Thumbs

You don't have to have a green thumb to grow a great garden. We’re here to make gardening simple, approachable, and fun with the guidance, education, and resources you need to grow something you’re genuinely excited to bring home.

As Seen On

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Emily! I’ve always loved watching things grow, but I know that gardening can feel a little intimidating when you’re not sure where to start. Over the years, I’ve learned that growing a beautiful, productive garden doesn’t have to take hours a day, and you certainly don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Whether you’re growing your first tomato plant or you’ve been gardening for years, I want to help make the process simpler, more approachable, and a whole lot more fun. There will always be a plant that doesn’t make it and a season that doesn’t go quite as planned. That’s part of gardening!

What matters is learning what works, having someone to turn to when you have questions, and getting to experience that pretty amazing moment when you harvest something you grew yourself.

Today, I’m joined by a team of garden-loving people who share that same passion.
We’re here to help you grow your green thumb, one garden at a time.

Let’s Grow Together

Maybe you’re ready to start a garden but don't know where to begin. Maybe you’ve been growing for years but can’t figure out why your tomatoes refuse to cooperate. Or maybe you just want someone to tell you what to plant and when to plant it.

Whatever brought you here, we’d love to help!

What Our Gardeners Have To Say

I love Cedar Hill! Twenty years ago I had a wonderful backyard vegetable garden but I shut it down when I went back to work. I retired a year ago, and my dream was to bring the garden back, or as I call it, the farm. Going out there, I discovered that trees had grown and my sun was half what it used to be, and I was completely overwhelmed.

One of my daughters saw Emily’s Instagram post where she said she was in the business of building gardens, so my girls gave me a consultation for Mother’s Day!

Emily and all the Cedar Hill staff have been wonderful to work with and spent a lot of time listening to what I was  hoping for and then making it happen!!

I am back in business thanks to them and have loved playing in the dirt and planting so many vegetables after we found some sun!

They check on me every month so I don’t feel alone and are only a text or phone call away. I could not recommend Cedar Hill enough. A brilliant concept that is exactly what so many of us needed!

Long live the FARM!

"Cedar Hill has been absolutely invaluable as we’ve settled into a new home with an established garden. Maddie’s expertise, attention to detail, and guidance have made gardening so much more enjoyable, allowing me to watch things thrive while learning so much along the way.

One of the sweetest gifts the Cedar Hill team has given me has been seeing my children cultivate a love of growing! Together, we’ve loved discovering the Lord’s creativity through the incredible shapes, textures, colors, and flavors found throughout the garden.

We are so thankful for Maddie and the entire Cedar Hill team for helping make our garden such a joyful and rewarding part of our home!"

-Amanda R.

“I cannot say enough.  From the moment I met with Emily and Maddie, they saw our vision for the garden and our daughter’s wedding.  And most importantly, you were not afraid to bring in Gabe (of Mississippi Landscaping) to help plan and execute the project.

But what was originally a beautiful space for a wedding, and our yard, is now our absolute most favorite pastime.  It is a daily adventure to see what is happening in the garden.  They created a very special place for Randy and me to work, plan, and enjoy life together.  Not to mention a GREAT place for our grandkids to explore and learn.  I surprise myself sometimes when answering questions about the garden because Emily and Maddie have taught us SO MUCH.  Our garden would not be what it is today without Cedar Hill Gardens.”
